See below for admission requirement details that pertain to all Saunders College graduate programs. As each degree program has additional admissions requirements, please visit our degree specific requirements page for admissions information pertaining to each individual program.
GMAT or GRE Requirements
Many graduate programs at Saunders require applicants to submit a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) exam score to complete your application. Although GMAT remains the preferred admission test for Saunders College Graduate Programs, Saunders also accepts GRE test as an alternative. Visit the GMAT or GRE websites for more information about each exam.
Applicants with an earned PhD, EdD, MD, or Law Degree are exempt from taking the GMAT or GRE tests.
Minimum GPAs and Test Scores
Saunders intentionally does not specify minimum GPAs or test scores as all of your application materials are considered when making admissions decisions.
Undergraduate Degree and GPA
Completion of a bachelor's degree and your undergraduate GPA is required for admission into Saunders Graduate degree program. It is not required that your undergraduate degree is in business or management. Most of our graduate degree programs are designed for individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds. Many of our graduate students have undergraduate degrees in liberal arts, design, science, and engineering.
Work experience is not required. Many of our students are accepted directly from undergraduate programs. However, any work experience you have is included as part of your application review, which encompasses all application materials you submit.
