Two Saunders Graduate Degrees Qualify to Apply
International students receiving a graduate degree in Computational Finance or Business Analytics from Saunders College of Business at RIT may now be able to work in the United States for up to 3 years post-graduation. Students qualify to apply for a 24-month STEM Optional Practical Training (OPT) period extension after their initial 12-month STEM OPT period. This program enhances the previous 17-month STEM OPT extension.
The program extension provides international students with an opportunity to enhance their real-world experience. The increased time spent in the work force supplements students’ graduate studies and positions them as competitive candidates in their field.
