Christopher Hadnagy is the founder and CEO of Social-Engineer, LLC. During his 16 years in the information security industry, Chris has written four books on social engineering. He also wrote the world’s first social engineering framework, as well as had the first social engineering based podcast and newsletter.

On January 5, 2021,  Christopher Hadnagy’s new book, “Human Hacking: Win Friends, Influence People and Leave Them Better Off for Having Met You”, will be available. This new book is all about how to use social engineering skills in everyday life.

Chris lectures and teaches about social engineering around the globe. He’s been invited to speak at the Pentagon, as well as other high secure facilities.  As the creator of the world’s first Social Engineering Capture the Flag (SECTF), Chris leads the way in educating people on this serious threat.

Chris works with some of the world’s leaders in scientific research to understand social engineering. Notably, Chris authored a book with Dr. Paul Ekman regarding how nonverbal communication is used by social engineers.

Chris is certified as both an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) as well as an Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP).  He is also the creator of the Social Engineering Pentest Professional (SEPP) and Master’s Level Social Engineering Certifications (MLSE).

Aldwin Maloto joined RIT as the Information Security Officer (ISO) on July 2016. He is a graduate of the Management Information Systems (MIS) program and the Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) program at the E. Philip Saunders College of Business at RIT. Aldwin is also a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He brings over 20 years of experience in Information Security and Information Technology. He has a high level of technical and security expertise with proficiency in current data protection best practices, standards and applicable legislation and well versed with principles and techniques of security operations and risk management, data governance and incident response. Aldwin has a comprehensive understanding of industry frameworks, approaches, and standards.

As the ISO, Aldwin heads the Information Security Office at RIT. The Information Security Office partners with the university community to achieve the institute’s mission by maintaining an appropriate level of information security risk that is in alignment with the institute’s academic portfolio, research agenda and educational model.

Aldwin lead RIT’s selection and alignment with the National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF). He also spearheads the university’s Enterprise Risk Management efforts in the area of Cybersecurity. Aldwin’s vision for cybersecurity at RIT focuses on fostering a strong community which endeavors to appropriately preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of university information assets through the innovative use of the right organization, people, process, and technology.

Prior to joining RIT Aldwin was the co-founder, Chief Security and Technology Officer of a cybersecurity company. He has provided consulting and led information security and technology teams in a wide variety of verticals ranging from healthcare, manufacturing, non-profit agencies and fortune 500 companies.
