Your decision to pursue a graduate business degree is an important decision. Our goal is to make the application process as easy as possible so you can focus on what it takes to make the most of your degree. Once you complete your application, you will receive a quick admissions decision. Once accepted, your decision will also include information on available scholarships. Please reference our Graduate Application Timeline for an overview of steps to take while preparing your application.
RIT Graduate Online Application
You can submit an online application one year before their intended program start. RIT students and alums can use their current RIT credentials to “Login”. All others will be asked to create a new account. You can apply to up to three programs. Your first-choice program will determine the requirements required to submit before the application is moved forward for department review for admission. Visit the Offices of Graduate & Part-time Enrollment Services website for specifics on the application process. Feel free to contact a graduate representative at any time for further assistance.
Tip: Skip past any part of the application you do not have completed and push “Submit”. This will generate a specialized check-list for you to use as you complete all requirements for the application. Current RIT students, alumni, and 4+1 Partner institution students are eligible for an application fee waiver. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request this waiver if you believe you qualify.
Completing your application
We recommend that you start your application as soon as possible as you have one full year to complete your application. By starting your application, you will ensure you receive all the important notifications regarding the application process and we will be better able to assist you. In all cases, to complete your application, you must submit ALL your application materials. This includes your admission fee which you can submit after you have submitted all other materials. Only completed applications are reviewed for an admission decision.
Saunders College of Business has rolling admissions which means that you can apply at any time. We will review full applications until two weeks prior to the start of classes each term. Your financial aid and admissions scholarships are not be processed until after you are accepted to the program. Please submit your full graduate application by the following dates:
- August 1st, Fall Semester
- January 1st, Spring Semester
- May 1st, Summer Semester
Completed applications submitted after these dates will be considered for the next appropriate academic start-term.
Although you can apply at any time, we encourage you to complete your application for admission as early as possible as financial aid and scholarship options are determined based on the order in which completed applications are received. In all cases, your scholarship options will be included with your admissions decision.
