Your Saunders Team
As a student at Saunders College, you will have a dedicated team devoted to your success. Once enrolled as an undergraduate student, you will receive three different advisors committed to providing academic, personal and career advising services throughout your academic career. You will also have dedicated resources to assist in your academic pursuits. Each advisor can assist you in a different way, but each is committed to your overall success.
Designated by major, your academic advisor can provide guidance throughout your academic career, ensuring you are armed with the skills and knowledge to achieve your academic, professional and personal goals. Our advisors will get to know you and your interests, provide support with scheduling and co-ops and ensure you fulfill your program requirements.
Career and Co-op Advisors
Designated by major, the career and co-op coordinators work specifically with Saunders College of Business students to assist you in your co-op and career process. From assistance with resume-writing and interviewing skills, to co-op planning and post-graduation placement, the career and co-op advisors are here to help.
Available for questions about courses or careers, faculty advisors are an integral part of the cooperative education process, career assessment and planning parts of your life as a student. A faculty advisor is assigned once you enroll in Saunders College of Business and begin your academic career in year one. After completing The Freshman Experience: Biz 1+2, you will receive a faculty advisor within your academic department.
Financial Aid Representative
In order to assist students in the most efficient manner possible, the Financial Aid and Scholarships counseling staff is divided into sections based on the student’s program or college.
Every college at RIT has a dedicated College Librarian who is available to help you (and our faculty) with research endeavors. Our librarian will help connect you with the information and resources the library has to support class projects, including research papers, marketing plans and business plans -- among other assignments. Visit the RIT InfoGuides to connect with the Saunders Business Reference Librarian.
