Student Life

Saunders College has many ways for finance students to get involved in student life, from student run clubs and organizations, to professional resources from institutional partners. Finance students, and students interested in financial stock markets and trading, can get involved and management a real-world investment portfolio.

Financial Management Association

The Financial Management Association (FMA) at Saunders has the goal of helping students become more familiar with the world of finance. The student organization brings in industry guest speakers to discuss their careers, hosts networking opportunities, and are responsible for monitoring its current real-world stock portfolio. Thanks to an endowment to Saunders FMA chapter, the members can propose investment ideas to the club such as explaining why the club should invest or sell a particular stock and see how their recommendations fair in the stock market over time.
