I like the bricks! They're beautiful! Aside from the bricks, I recognized that technology and business had become a cohesive unit. I really liked that this school provided students with the opportunity to develop core business skills but at the same time develop an understanding of what technologies are impacting businesses in today's world. I didn't find this at any other school I visited. I looked at my mom the first time I visited RIT and said, "This is it!"
I really enjoy my co-op at M&T Bank because my responsibilities vary weekly, and the work I produce is valued by my co-workers and senior managers. Another great part of my co-op, and perhaps the best part is that I get to work remotely when I'm at school. This is great for me because I continue to develop my skills, and I always have a job!
Saunders/RIT has taught me more than the technical skills needed to perform in the workplace. My professors and my fellow classmates have taught me to be a creative thinker and always look at a problem from every angle. I have no doubt that the mindset I have developed here at RIT will launch me to new professional career levels.
The professors care. Plain and simple. All of the professors can talk about their real-world experience, which helps me learn/remember the material much better. The projects my professors give me are not cut and dry, but rather very flexible and can have multiple correct answers. This mimics the assignments I would get in the workplace, so it prepares me for when I'm given a task at work that doesn't have a defined answer.
