I decided to attend Saunders because it promised access to technological tools, and I believe I received that.
I work full-time as an analyst in the risk generation - rate options team at Barclays.
I learned a lot of technical skills that are relevant in the financial industry. All tools and programming languages that I used at RIT are also used in the industry. Being exposed to them and applying them in multiple projects were the things I emphasized while interviewing.
The most significant advantage I received from Saunders was the exposure to a lot of tools. Not many colleges have advanced and industry-wide tools such as the Bloomberg terminal. I also believe Saunders switched my mindset to a curious one. I always question and seek answers to everything.
