After receiving my undergraduate degree, I chose to remain at RIT for my MBA in Accounting. I was able to become the President of the on-campus club Next Generation of Accountants or NGA, a position I wanted to hold since joining the club as a Freshman, and I was happy I could take the position of President to new heights.
After a successful summer co-op, I accepted a full-time offer to work for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston upon completion of RIT’s Accounting MBA. I had three co-ops while an undergraduate thanks to hard work on my part and the great opportunity RIT offers that is their career fair. I loved constantly meeting new people and the work I was doing and that I could see myself in the public accounting field for the rest of my life.
I have taken a very wide variety of courses are RIT and it has given me the ability of learning how to learn. RIT has done a good job in putting me into multiple different courses, groups, projects, and scenarios all testing my ability to adapt to the challenge ahead. My adaptability and ability to learn on the fly will in the business world be more valuable than any concept taught in a class.
