This spring, Saunders College launched their USA-Croatia Global Exchange program. The new program features a cohort of students from both the Rochester and Zagreb campuses. The group has concluded the Croatian part of the program and traveled to the US. And after a transition period from March 11th to March 26th, the students have begun their 5 weeks of studies in Rochester.
This combined body of students is taking courses together for the entire semester, spending their first 6 weeks in Zagreb and the remainder of the semester in Rochester, NY.
Led by Program Director, Dr. Zhi Tang, this unique global exchange program will culminate with final presentations displayed at the annual Imagine RIT Innovation and Creativity Festival.
“The USA-Croatia Global Exchange Program gives students a unique opportunity to experience American and European international business cultures in a direct and powerful way,” described Tang.
Students enrolled in the program will take a full course load during the semester and automatically qualify to earn an International Business minor. By blending students and faculty from both campuses into one cohort, the hope is to provide the opportunity to learn cultural and industry differences from each other, build international networks, and experience a country immersion like no other.
