Danni Wang, an MS student in Accounting, was awarded the New York State Society of CPAs Excellence in Academic Achievement Award for 2018.

The honor is awarded to a student pursuing their CPA licensure who shows excellence in their academic performance and communications, demonstrates active participation in extracurricular activities and shows maturity and integrity. This student must be on track to graduate by Aug. 31, 2018.

“The NY State Society of CPAs confers an Excellence in Academic Achievement Award to the top student graduating from a registered five-year degree program qualifying students for CPA licensure,” explained William Dresnack, Saunders Department Chair for Accounting.

Wang, a previous graduate in the MS Food Science program, has shown ambition and aptitude, serving as a role model for her peers.
