Cast your vote! This is the final day that voting is open to the public to support "Take Back the Internet: Countering Extremism," one of the panel submissions at SXSW 2017.

If selected, a four-person panel - with RIT student Olivia Hauck from the spring 2016 winning team It's Time: ExOut Extremism, EdVenture Partners, Facebook and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Countering Violent Extremism Task Force-will share how the public-private partnership model is making strides to counter extremism online, and how these types of partnerships should be further explored.

Hauck was part of a team of students from RIT who won first place in June for their social media project, It's Time: ExOut Extremism, in a global U.S. State Department challenge.
