REDCOM donates advanced telephony equipment to RIT's Telecommunications System Lab

REDCOM, a long-time partner of the telecommunications engineering technology program at Rochester Institute of Technology, recently donated its call control software, Sigma Core, to the university to provide students access to the latest technology being used for digital and IP-enabled telecommunications networks. The software and equipment was installed in the REDCOM Advanced Telecommunications System Laboratory, located in RIT's College of Applied Science and Technology.

RIT becomes Education Partner with New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association

Rochester Institute of Technology's School for International Hospitality and Service Innovation has been selected as an official Education Partner of the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association. As a partner, RIT's hospitality school faculty will provide professional development workshops in areas such as revenue management, hospitality sales and marketing and effective service coordination for association members around the state, starting in March and continuing on a quarterly basis.

RIT well represented at Digital Rochester GREAT Awards Sept. 19

Rochester Institute of Technology will be well represented at the 2017 Greater Rochester Excellence and Achievements in Technology Awards, presented by Digital Rochester Inc. The awards are Sept. 19 at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

The annual awards recognize and celebrate the Greater Rochester community's entrepreneurial spirit in technological achievement for advancing commerce and resource conservation.

Finalists with connections to RIT were nominated in several categories.

New Application Fee Waiver for High School DECA, BPA, FBLA, YEA Students

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and Saunders College of Business are excited to start offering an undergraduate application fee waiver to students involved in DECA, BPA, FBLA and YEA while in high school. As our engagement and partnerships continue to grow with students and advisors, we are happy to extend this offer.
