Gary is an Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of Genesee Regional Bank, a $490 million community bank in Rochester, NY. He joined Genesee Regional Bank in 2004 and has filled various financial management and executive positions in the banking industry since 1992.

His primary responsibilities at GRB include budgeting, investment portfolio management, interest rate risk management, funding, regulatory reporting, risk management, strategic planning, capital planning, accounting and human resources.

Gary is a 1991 graduate of the E. Philip Saunders College of Business at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He was a recipient of the 2006 Rochester Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award and was named the 2009 Financial Executive of the Year by Financial Executives International in the Small Company category.

Gary currently is a member of the Board of Directors at Mary Cariola Children’s Center. He previously has served as a Board/committee member at organizations such as the Crisis Nursery of Greater Rochester and the YWCA of Rochester and Monroe County. He also volunteers at RIT in a variety of mentoring and speaking roles.
