    Saunders College names Vanden Brul Award winner

    John “Dutch” Summers, CEO of Graywood Companies, Jasco Heat Treating and Jasco Pharmaceuticals LLC, has been named the 2018 recipient of the Herbert W. Vanden Brul Entrepreneurial Award, which is given to entrepreneurial leaders within the upstate New York region.

    RIT alumnus and trustee Frank Sklarsky and his family have made a gift to Saunders College of Business to help support costs associated with the Sklarsky Center for Business Analytics, a 800-square-foot space to the right of the entry to Saunders College formally dedicated on May 4.

    Saunders College hosts young entrepreneurs contest today

    Saunders College of Business at RIT is the host and a sponsor for the 10th annual Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) Saunders College Competition, in which young students compete in a Shark Tank-style competition for the opportunity to advance to the finals.

    Emergency mass notification clock wins STEAM contest

    A team of three computer engineering majors has developed a prototype for an emergency mass notification clock, which won the top prize and $5,000 in RIT’s first STEAM competition, sponsored by RIT’s Center for Public Safety Initiatives.

    RIT’s Saunders College of Business, Junior Achievement and Helen Barrett Montgomery School No. 50 in Rochester brought together RIT alumni, students and local business leaders for an all-day learning marathon to educate K-6 children at School No. 50 about business, economics and free enterprise.

    ThermApparel partners with MS Foundation
