RIT Benefits

RIT will process benefit certifications for Post 9/11, as well as most VA benefit chapters. The Post-9/11 benefit provides qualified veterans and dependents (with transferred entitlement) up to 36 months of educational assistance. Students at the 100% benefit level will receive up to $22,805.34 per academic year toward tuition/fees and may qualify for Yellow Ribbon benefits. Students with less than 100% benefit will receive their prorated benefit level of the $22,805.34.

Funding is processed as follows:

  • Tuition & fee payment sent directly to the school
  • Books and supplies stipend sent directly to you
  • Monthly housing allowance sent to you
