Saunders College ClubsStudent Organizations play an important role in student life and in what the Saunders College of Business has to offer students. Student organizations help to develop leadership skills, provide networking opportunities, enhance education outside of the classroom, and strengthen the communication between faculty, staff, and students. The various clubs and organizations in the Saunders

Entrepreneurship Club

The Entrepreneurship Club is a group in which students can access relevant entrepreneurial resources, create business plans, work on business ventures, network with prominent community entrepreneurs, and share ideas. The club is dedicated to furthering understanding about new or small businesses, consulting on campus clubs and being highly involved in the RIT Annual Entrepreneurs' Conference.

The Financial Management Association goal is to help students become more familiar with the world of finance. Students invest a real portfolio.

Honors Program
Honors Advocate: Peter Rosenthal

The Saunders College group of Honors students meets regularly to plan and then go on company visits, to sponsor external speakers, to socialize, and to discuss the Honors program.

Lowenthal Service Group
Advisor: Jenna Lenhardt and Clarissa Baston President: Shayna Honorat

The Lowenthal Service Group, a student volunteer and service group, is open to all students in the Saunders College. The students serve as ambassadors for the College in numerous events. The goal is to help students become active leaders and professionals in business.

The RIT Marketing Club is an open student group which provides member students with value building opportunities to network with local professionals and learn about the world of business.

Next Generation of Accountants (NGA)

The Next Generation of Accountants (NGA) is the club for students interested in accounting. The NGA provides opportunity, information, and career tools to future business leaders in financial fields.

Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)

Phi Beta Lambda is a national, post-secondary organization of future business leaders of America. Members have the opportunity to compete nationwide at annual conferences in numerous business, leadership, and technology events. The organization also gives the opportunity for members to meet other college students nationwide and network with businesses.

The Saunders Multicultural Business Association is a club oriented towards networking and support for all students interested in business.

Society of African-American Business Students (SAABS)

The goal of Suits is to improve the academic environment for NTID business students by providing knowledge and experiences in business and economics as well as a hands-on understanding of how the economy works.

The Student Government Senator is the link between the students in the Saunders College and the RIT Student Government as a whole.

Advisor: Dana Pierce and Dr. Jacquie Mozrall

The Executive Board coordinates club activities, sponsors Saunders College student activities, and responds to student policy concerns. Membership consists of the presidents of each club in the College.

1. To get your club announcement in the screen in the Saunders atrium, please email the image to Ideal dimensions are PowerPoint "On-screen Show (16:9)". Announcements may be modified at the discretion of the marketing department.
2. To get your club promotion on the Saunders computer lab screens, submit Desktop Wallpaper Promotion Form

Need a Meeting Space?

Fill out the Room Reservation Form and return to the front desk of Student Services. You can also email the completed form to Student Services.

Student Affairs Committee

The Student Affairs Committee is responsible for the oversight of student affairs in the Saunders College of Business. Among its responsibilities, the committee decides how money allocated for college student affairs should be distributed among various options, including such things as:

  • Student activities for the entire College, such as Spirit Week
  • Student activities for individual clubs and organizations
  • Activities undertaken by individual students (such as conference attendance)
