Two of Saunders College’s faculty have been recognized by the university for their excellence in teaching and scholarship.
Awarded to faculty who have demonstrated excellent scholarship over a sustained period, Dr. John Ettlie receives ‘The Trustees Scholarship Award’. Likewise, Dr. Shalini Khazanchi earned ‘The Excellence in Faculty Mentoring Award’ for her commitment to actively helping other faculty become better educators.
Both faculty with be recognized at a ceremony for this year’s Celebration of Teaching and Scholarship on Tuesday, April 25 at 4:30 p.m. in the Gordon Field House; followed afterwards by a reception.
Events like the Celebration of Teaching and Scholarship are representative of how RIT strives to build an environment that fosters and cultivates faculty excellence. Their ability as educators is the foundation for RIT’s success.
