Decision-Making Simulation
If your company is looking for a unique and effective way to enhance the decision making capabilities of your leadership team, consider this program.
The Web-DECIDE simulation — the core of a highly effective management development seminar — requires participants to engage in Systems Thinking by integrating over 30 major business decisions variables. The rigorous computer model requires participants to link their human resource strategy with their overall business plan. Teams combine their headcount plan with their production and capital programs, benchmark their pay and compensations plans, conduct employee surveys, and use an effective training program to ensure a financially viable business.
The program has been taught for many years in the Executive MBA program as a course. The students find the simulation to be invaluable in enhancing their abilities to make decisions and understand how decisions affect all functions within the organization.
This program is led by Dr. Thomas Pray, Professor Emeritus at the E. Philip Saunders College of Business. Professor Pray has over 30 years of experience in this area and is the developer of the simulation.
