Meet Sorim

Sorim Chung is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Saunders College of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Management with a concentration in Marketing from the University of California-Riverside and received her M.A. and B.J. in Advertising from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her research concerns the impact of technology on consumer behavior, particularly in the context of sensory marketing, user environments, advertising, and brand management. She is currently conducting several research projects investigating the impact of touch interfaces and other device types on online shoppers. Prior to RIT, Sorim taught both undergraduate and MBA marketing courses as a lecturer at the University of California-Riverside, and she has more than a decade of marketing-industry experience at several multi-national corporations.
