Laurence Liebson is Adjunct Professor of Management in the Saunders Business School at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is an experienced entrepreneur/business executive that has consistently orchestrated the creation and introduction of new products, markets, solutions and businesses that grew rapidly and established leadership positions in their served markets, including: integrated hardware/software solutions for aerospace/defense/intelligence, semiconductor, software, electronics, telecommunications, automotive, and printing and publishing industries. Previously, he was the founding CEO and Chairman of two high-tech companies (Xylogics, Inc. and Xyvision, Inc.) that grew rapidly and were NASDAQ-listed. He relocated from Boston to Rochester when he led a management buyout of Harris Corporationís Electronic Design Automation Division (a Division of a Fortune 500 Company) and renamed it Xynetix Design Systems, Inc. Initially he served as Vice President-General Manager of Harris Corporation and then CEO of Xynetix. Xynetix was sold and became part of a division at Synopsis. Mr. Liebson also has prior work experience at the NASA Electronic Research Center and Bell Laboratories. He holds an MS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was an M.I.T. Sloan Fellow, has done graduate work at Harvard University in the Division of Engineering and Applied Physics, and has a BS in Engineering with an emphasis on computer science from Northeastern University. He serves and has served on more than a dozen private and public company Board of Directors and is currently the CEO of i-Netix, Inc., a management and technology consultancy. Mr. Liebson and his family enjoy skiing the back bowls of Vail and windsurfing in Aruba.
