Sonya is the graduate adviser at the E. Philip Saunders College of Business
at RIT. In this position, she is responsible for advising students in the
MBA and MS programs.
She previously worked in the Business Office at Campus Connections, the RIT book store.
Sonya earned a BS degree in Accounting from Syracuse University. She later
earned an MS degree in Human Resource Development from RIT's College of
Applied Science & Technology.
Outside of work, she spends many hours volunteering her time with various
community agencies, including Wilson Commencement Park, Literacy Volunteers,
the United Way, and the Geva Theatre.
She is a 1998 graduate of Leadership Rochester, a year-long program charged
with identifying and developing emerging and existing leaders who represent
and serve the Greater Rochester Community, and she previously served on the
Nominating Committee of the YWCA. She is currently the Vice President of Education for a local Toastmasters club, Toasted Sage.
